**Responsibilities**:
Join one of Australia’s leading consultancy firms and play a key role in delivering robust, secure, and high-performing network services for our clients.
Based in Sydney, this position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge infrastructure projects and collaborate with industry experts across multiple domains.
**Network Operations & Support**
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for enterprise-grade routers, switches, firewalls, and proxy services
- Manage the network performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues
- Maintain and upgrade network hardware and software to ensure optimal functionality
- Support DMZ environments, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN configurations
**Managed Services Integration**
- Collaborate with IT Service Management (ITSM) teams to align network operations with incident, problem, and change management processes
- Participate in CMDB discovery activities and configuration audits
- Assist with ServiceNow integrations for network-related modules and workflows
**Security & Compliance**
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and manage patching cyclesEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements and client-specific compliance standards**Your Profile**:
- 7+ years of experience in network engineering and managed services.
- Strong expertise in Cisco platforms (ASR, ISR, Nexus) and SDN (Cisco ACI)
- Strong experience across Routing and Switching, datacentre and enterprise networks
- Solid exposure across L2 and L3 support for a range of stakeholders - internally and externally
- Knowledge of Firewalls
- Certifications: CCNP preferred
- Cisco ACI skills - desirable
- Exceptional at multitasking, communication, and negotiation skills.
