We are currently seeking a Despatch Clerk experienced within the distribution environment to ensure all administrative tasks on the shift are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate and maintain a reliable and efficient dispatch service for all customers
- Organise transportation of customer orders as required.
- Resolve any arising problems or customer complaints and re-assign or re-schedule any return deliveries.
- Manage requests for any add on to runs for doors and mouldings and ensure they are accurately recorded.
- Prepare and distribute on a daily basis the Interstate backorder reports.
- Manage the Distribution mailbox to ensure all communications are answered in a timely manner.
- Manage customer transactions serving customers in Despatch Office.
- Manage the processing of local and interstate orders, through the Titan and associated systems.
- Call site supervisors / customers to ensure site ready for delivery and/or collection of product.
**To be considered for the position, you must have**:
- 3 years previous experience within a distribution environment with a focus on safety, quality, order fulfilment and customer service.
- Working knowledge of legislative requirements for transport in areas of COR, fatigue management, load restraint, mass management.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using computer systems and programs - MS Office skills essential
- A systematic, methodical and process-orientated approach to your work
- Pride yourself on thoroughness and attention to details
- Strong organisational skills & multi-tasking
- Flexibility and willingness to support others
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as work autonomously
