Financial Analyst required for an ongoing contract opportunity for a minimum of 6 months based in Perth CBD.

My government client, is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join their projects team for an ongoing temporary contract.

Working with the project and contract managers within the finance team you will be responsible for:

- Managing finances for projects
- Answering PO/purchasing queries, raising POs, creating standing orders
- Reconciliation and capitalisation of project expenditure
- Running weekly and monthly reports
- Managing creditor and debitors
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Petty cash and banking duties
- Income and expenses
- Month End duties
- Prepare journals
- Cashflow forecasting
- Fixed asset management and journals
- Review non-compliant purchases
- Management reporting
- Financial statements and balance sheets

My client is looking for an experienced Project Accountant/Financial Analyst who is available to start a new role immediately.

**Requirements**:

- **Essential** Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position
- **Desirable - **experience with Oracle
- **Essential** - Intermediate MS Excel
- Confident with Australian accounting procedures
- Able to hit the ground running
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
