**Skills and Experiences**:
To be successful at this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
- At least 3 - 4 years purchasing experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A proven ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Computer literacy, including the proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
- Strong administrative skills, organised and with good attention to detail
- A strong team player with the willingness to be hands on when required
- Experience in negotiation with suppliers, including sourcing new suppliers
Desirable
- Experience working within a not-for-profit/aged care, wellness, or disability sector will be well regarded.
- Experience/understanding of services for older people and working with older people would be an advantage.
- Experience in procure-to-pay solutions
