**About Always Available**:
Always Available is a new NDIS provider situated on the Gold Coast. We are dedicated to providing high-quality and compassionate support services to individuals with disabilities under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Our mission is to empower our participants to live fulfilling lives and achieve their goals with the utmost care and respect.

**Position: Support Worker**:
As a Support Worker at Always Available, you will play a crucial role in assisting and supporting individuals with disabilities to lead independent and meaningful lives. Your passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others will be at the core of your role, helping participants achieve their goals and develop essential life skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivering exceptional care and support to NDIS participants in accordance with their individual plans and goals.
- Assisting participants with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility requirements.
- Supporting participants in their community and social participation activities, such as joining local clubs, engaging in recreational events, and fostering social connections.
- Encouraging skill development and promoting independence among participants.
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of support provided and progress achieved.

**Requirements**:

- A genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with participants, their families, and the broader community.
- Compassion, empathy, and a person-centered approach to support and care.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, based on participant needs.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one) and valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
- Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation.
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain one.

**Preferred, but not essential**:

- Experience working in the disability sector or similar caregiving roles.
- Relevant qualifications in Disability Support or a related field.
