We are looking for confident, enthusiastic **S**upport Workers **to join our team and provide high care direct supports to a mature lady living with Multiple Sclerosis in Mount Pleasant.

We provide all the training; all you need is a can-do attitude and willingness to learn and develop yourself in this amazing High Care team.

Our customer requires various supports but what we are looking for is to fill these supports throughout the week, Monday - Sunday :early morning from starts 6.30am and occasional overnight asleep supports.

**There's no 'typical day' but it may include...**.
- Personal care including bowel management (training provided)
- Domestic and household assistance
- Manual tasks such as hoisting (training provided)
- Social support including assistance with community access and attending appointment
- Providing reliable, timely and flexible services that best meet the needs of the individual and their family
- Problem solving issues with the person and/or their family, and the team
- Regular communication with local team and participation in team meetings

**What we require**:

- Previous support work experience in Disability is desirable
- Demonstrated reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and listening
- Ability to problem solve, think creatively and find innovative solutions
- Competent using of a Smart Phone and Apps
- Availability to attend mandatory and paid training during the week
- ** A valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle**:

- ** A NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one**

- Option to Salary Package up to $18,550 to reduce taxable income

- A Mobile Phone to use for work
- Pay for kilometres and time travelled between supports
- Extra 2 days of leave per year and 17.5% leave loading for Annual Leave
