Reporting to the Service Technician Manager, the key responsibilities of the Service Supervisor will include:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of technicians in the successful implementation of the company’s service strategies
- Carry out mechanical repairs to valves, actuators and other flow control equipment
- Test of SRV’s Manual and Control/ Automated valves and pump equipment within the workshop and onsite shutdowns
- Have in-depth practical understanding of maintenance procedures and repairing of mechanical and automated equipment
- Be proficient in both practical workshop practices to ensure safety and quality outcomes are met
- Report times and work as per Emerson’s quality systems and workplace process
- To be a quality conscious person with pride in the work done
- To understand and to comply with Emerson’s and clients EHS procedures and practices
- To ensure all toolbox meetings and day plan meetings are attended

**Key metrics for success (not limited to)**:

- Responsible for the promotion of Safety in line with Emerson policy and procedures
- Operate within the requirements of the company Quality System and promote quality awareness to other employees
- Responsible for the revenue generation by installation, repair and servicing of our products or systems
- Responsible for the daily workshop activity of individuals involved in the repair of inventory and product
- Lead and direct the group that performs various aspects of parts repair
- Workshop interactions leading daily Toolbox meetings

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Trade Certificate in mechanical or electrical fitting/machining
- A trade or at least 5 years’ experience in the mechanical repair and refurbishment of flow control equipment or similar aligned trade

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**:

- Ideally m echanical repair and refurbishment of flow control equipment. On the job training can be provided
- Forklift license
- Dog-man/Rigging certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Driver’s license
