**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Due to ongoing success, we have a rare Manager (Branded Beef) position available in our Business Development and Sales team in Toowoomba Head Office, on a full time basis. Responsibilities include:

- Developing and implementing sales plans for existing and future planned Mort & Co products
- Managing a team of highly skilled sales professionals to ensure sales targets and KPI’s are met and exceeded
- Working closely with the General Manager of BD&S, the role will actively pursue new business and sales opportunities to deliver profitable markets and trading opportunities
- Liaise with marketing and communications team to engage audiences, clients and establish productive relationships
- Become a brand ambassador for all sales products developed by Mort & Co

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this position you'll have a background in agricultural sales such as fertiliser, stockfeed, commodities, business administration or marketing (highly desirable). You’ll also bring:

- Proven experience in meat sales, export and business development.
- The ability to lead and develop a sales team and build capability and confidence across all sales functionality in the Mort & Co business
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets / KPI’s
- Thorough knowledge of the agricultural industry and business product offering / value proposition of Mort & Co products
- Demonstrated leadership skills with an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Have strong communication, negotiation and reporting skills
