As the Project Support Officer, you will use your existing, mature TMR and government network to support the Project Manager and team members to provide timely support and advice MSQ as the work progresses.Accountabilities include: - Prepare and contribute to policy papers, briefs, reports, correspondence, Cabinet submissions and other documents. Undertake research, analysis and support the interpretation of complex issues. Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team to assist deliver project outcomes for complex and challenging policy and regulation challenges. Provide administrative support to the project team including developing and implementing effective administrative processes, business improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining the regular reporting to key stakeholders. Attend meetings and forums as required and establish effective and positive relationships across the Office, department, government and with stakeholders. Deliver activities, project or policy outcomes individually or as a team member, with an emphasis on meeting deadlines within quality, cost and time constraints. Identify, report and act to rectify potential project delays, risks and issues. Ensure public sector legislation, standards, policies, practices and procedures relating to human, financial and physical resources are met. Initiate, manage and comply with departmental guidelines relating to the engagement of consultants, contractors or suppliers who perform work on behalf of the division.
