Wind in the Willows Long Day Care is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Qualified, Educator. for a near-immediate start for Room Leadership

**Interested applicants must have**:

- A passion to work with children.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Clear conversational English, both verbal and written
- A positive approach to supporting children and their families.
- An intention to work and learn with our children for a meaningful period of time.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
- Exceptional knowledge of safety and wellbeing
- Willingness to learn and be a part of the team
- Strong communication skills, reliable and punctual

**Successful applicants will have**:

- Diploma in Children's Education and Care - or studying, or
- Current First Aid and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
- Current Working with Children check

**About your role**

Room Leadership:
To build and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families and fellow educators and the centre community. To have a sound knowledge of and demonstrate high-quality practice in line with, the National Quality Framework, that is, Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations, the National Quality Standard, and the Early Years Learning Framework. To actively contribute to the educational program, observations, and documentation, using Story Park and informal opportunities to communicate regularly children’s progress and activities with their families In collaboration with your peers, extend children’s thinking and learning through intentional teaching strategies, inspiring environments, spontaneous play experiences and high-quality documentation Professional level of written and verbal communication skills Current understanding of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children Demonstrated computer literacy skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.00 - $53.94 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
