**Position: Cert 3 Electrical Fitting Apprentice**

**Overview**:
As a Cert 3 Electrical Fitting Apprentice at Technaus Solar, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative team focused on the design, installation, and maintenance of solar power systems. Under the supervision of experienced professionals, you will gain hands-on experience in electrical fitting tasks and develop the skills necessary to become a competent electrical fitter in the solar energy industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting in the installation and maintenance of solar power systems according to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Supporting the electrical fitting team in the assembly, installation, and wiring of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and associated components.
- Assisting with testing and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning and performance.
- Participating in site surveys and inspections to assess electrical requirements and identify potential challenges or hazards.
- Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient project completion within given timelines.
- Attending training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Keeping accurate records of work activities, including daily tasks, hours worked, and materials used.
- Following company policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain quality standards and customer satisfaction.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interest in the renewable energy industry, particularly solar power systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new concepts and techniques.
- Basic knowledge of electrical principles, tools, and equipment.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety practices and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Reliable and punctual with strong time management skills.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to travel to job sites or training facilities.
