We are currently looking for experienced Community Support Workers in the Illawarra region to join our growing team on a permanent full time basis.

We have a number of positions available:

- 6:00am start in Austinmer and Northern Suburbs
- 7:00am start in Wollongong and Northern Suburbs
- 12:00pm start in Wollongong and Northern Suburbs

The role of a Community Support Worker is to provide quality support and services to people over the age of 65, to help them strengthen their capacity to continue living in their own home and surrounds. Unlike other providers, allcare team members are not required to do large blocks of cleaning, as we provide separate professional cleaning services to our clients. Travel time between clients is paid as well as the reimbursement of kilometres travelled.

**Duties of this role include**:

- The provision of Client Directed Care;
- Transportation services;
- Respite care;
- Domestic assistance;
- Personal care;
- Other social services.

**About you**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Current Australian Drivers Licence;
- Reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive vehicle insurance;
- Smart Mobile Phone with Internet access;
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or Home and Community Care (or the aspiration to get one);
- Previous experience in a similar role (desirable);
- A solid understanding of the needs of older people and their carers;
- The ability to work as part of a team to achieve goals.
