With a continued focus on the future, Michael Hill is looking for an energetic Merchandise Planning Assistant to join our global Planning Team, full time at our Support Centre in Cannon Hill, Brisbane.

This is an opportunity to provide expert support to the Planning Team. You will effectively manage the allocations, administration, data and system requirements for the relevant Department, whilst working closely and learning from our Merchandise Planners. This essential role will help drive category sales, profit and inventory efficiencies for our retail and Ecomm business.

**More about this role**:

- Assist the global planning team in all areas of reporting
- Use advanced administration skills to ensure data integrity for the planning department
- Work in various systems such as D365, PIM, Jasper, Onyx & Excel, ensuring the systems and data align by having outstanding attention to detail and completing monthly audits
- Managing min/max targets and stock allocations to drive high in-store availability without overstocking whilst maintaining ideal store/DC mixes
- Conduct regular store level reviews to identify and potentialise opportunities
- Provide Planners with analytics and suggested actions to support assortment and inventory decisions
- Intake management including raising purchase orders and supplier communication
- Communicate information effectively to multiple areas of the business
