**Assistant Development Manager - Masterplanned Communities**

We have an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Development Manager to progress your career in the Masterplanned Communities team in South East Queensland

**The Opportunity - About the Role**

This is an exciting role that will see you work across strategic development projects in Greater Brisbane.

As part of a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team within Stockland you will have the opportunity to grow as an Assistant Development Manager. Stockland communities typically feature a mix of residential options, including single-family homes, townhouses, along with integrated amenities such as schools, retail town centers, parks, and recreational facilities.

Supporting the development team you will be responsible for driving the project strategy, with safety and commercial acuity at the forefront.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Work with the Development team to ensure the Project is scoped, designed and delivered in accordance with the business strategy, agreed vision and profitability levels
- Support project delivery to ensure schedule, revenue and cost objectives are met.
- Assist with driving the sales and marketing activities to achieve the business plan objectives.
- Engagement and management of internal and external stakeholders, including authorities.
- Assist with preparation and maintenance of financial models for current and prospective projects.
- Working with the project leadership team to control and monitor development budgets and financial reporting.
- Assist with monitoring progress on site, participate in site meetings and monitor actions out of these meetings.
- Support with implementation of Residential Sustainability Policy and community development.
- Procurement and payment of consultants, contractors and suppliers.
- Use your business acumen to monitor the market and competitor activity to maintain competitiveness.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be driven to achieve results, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer-focused outcomes. Additionally, you should have:

- A degree in a related discipline with prior relevant experience in planning, property, development, or construction and/or extensive relevant experience.
- The ability to take initiative and be a self-starter.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving customer-focused outcomes.
- Knowledge of the full development lifecycle (ideally residential land/ masterplanned communities)
- The ability to ask the right questions to achieve desired outcomes.
- Developed stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Resilience and excellent communication skills.
- Financial and commercial acumen
- Drivers license and vehicle
