**The Role**

This is a unique opportunity to be considered for a hybrid role, working as a Maintenance Handyperson and a commercial cleaner

The Maintenance Handyperson/cleaner will be responsible for the coordination and completion of preventative and corrective maintenance for the site as well regular collection of rubbish, sanitation and cleanliness of general areas amongst the site, specific responsibilities will include:

- Delivery of day to day repairs and maintenance on site
- Foster and maintain positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and colleagues
- Management of maintenance tasks assigned by Manager/Supervisor
- Detailed cleans of public areas including facilities & washrooms
- Collection of waste from designated waste stations
- Spot cleaning, including mopping, sweeping
- Toilet, car park and walkway cleaning
- Reporting of any maintenance requirements
- Ensuring all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly
- Using appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes ensuring safe work practices are maintained
- General maintenance and handyman experience required
- Mechanically minded
- Proficient use of power tools and maintenance tools
- Previous cleaning experience or willingness to learn
- Police clearance
