**The role**:
We are currently looking for a **Maintenance Officer/ Mini Bus Driver **to join the friendly team at **The Heritage of Hunters Hill **on a **permanent full time** basis (38 hours per week, 8am - 4pm/430pm, Monday - Friday). Located in **Hunters Hill **in Sydney, The Heritage is home to 42 apartments and elegant shared spaces including billiards room, library and community centre. You will be responsible for the grounds and maintanence of The Heritage Retirement Community, working in accordance with health and safety guidelines and providing a support service that enhances our customer's wellbeing in their home.

**What you will be doing**:

- Involved in preventative and proactive maintenance
- Providing a range of general maintenance duties, including identfyfing and fixing general hazards
- Bin management, involving montioring and cleaning
- Driving a 14 seater bus, assisting residents in weekly, regular outings
- Delivering a high level of service to residents, visitors, contractors and staff
- Maintenance of the shared spaces, ensuring a high standard of presentation
- Working within health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff, reporting hazards where appropriate

**About you**:

- **Must have a Light Rigid Driving License**:

- **Must be willing to obtain Medium Rigid License (cost of training provided)**:

- **Must have full covid vaccination and be willing to complete First aid/ CPR training (cost of training provided)**:

- **Proven maintenance/ handyman experience (essential)**:

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the maintenance services in an apartment complex
- Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft suite and asset management/ordering systems.
- Knowledge of OHS requirements with a strong resident and safety focus
