Introduction:

- Independent Mentor role, working autonomously to run an independent caseload, co-located with our housing partners, Bridge Housing.

This is a Workforce Australia role with a difference. We are looking for a passionate self-starter to operate a small intensive case management caseload, working exclusively to support jobseekers living in social or community housing find work.

Working closely with our housing partners, you will use your strong case management and/or allied health experience to make a real difference in the lives of Australians through employment.

Other core responsibilities include:

- the ability to identify and embed intervention & solutions, mentor, coach and break down real life barriers for our job seekers and through sustainable employment and initiatives that you have created
- exceptional communication skills, motivation, and resilience
- support of a national network organisation, working Brookvale, Sydney you will have support and guidance to help you to provide the right assistance to our job seekers
- ability and confidence in cold-calling and networking with local employers in the community to secure employment opportunities for our job seekers

On a day-to-day basis, you will manage the relationship between our jobseekers, Housing partners, and potential employers, including regular onsite visits, ensuring all relevant parties are aware of their employment obligations. You will build a presence in Brookvale, Sydney region and promote CoAct services and opportunities to employers and industry groups.

Skills and Experiences:
A little about you...
- Employment Services experience will be highly regarded, but this is not a standard employment consultant desk-based role. You will provide flexible servicing solutions for your small, specialist contract.
- Allied Health experience or qualifications will serve you well as you navigate implementing complex interventions that result in sustain employment.
- Initiative, excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Demonstrated experience in achieving goals monthly targets for placement and retention
