Currently recruiting for a **Diploma-Qualified Arborist Team Leader** for a local council in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs.

**Your new company**
A local council in the Eastern suburbs, surrounded by a mix of forestry and suburbia. With such a central location, the depot boasts great accessibility for individuals living anywhere in the North East, East or South East suburbs.

This council prides itself with efficient and a people-centric nature of operating, with ongoing support and a friendly environment to come to every day.

**Your new role**
Your daily duties will involve:

- Working on elevated work platforms as well as some grounds duties
- Operating chainsaws and woodchippers
- Tree pruning
- Spotting
- Powerline clearing work
- Tree removal

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful for this role, you must hold:

- Minimum Diploma Arboriculture
- ESI certification
- EWP ticket
- Traffic control ticket
- Chainsaw certification
- Experience managing a small team (desired)
