Grants Coordinator

**Full Time Permanent Position**

**Band 8 - Salary Range $123,831 to $138,629 per annum + 11.5% Super + ADO**

**Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience.**

**The Opportunity**

Play a leadership role in attracting grant funding for one of the fastest growing local government areas in Australia. In this role you will identify and coordinate efforts across the organisation to maximise the level of funding received by Council for infrastructure and services.

Reporting to the Manager Advocacy and Government Relations you will proactively identify and develop a forward plan of external funding opportunities and coordinate high quality funding submissions with the support and collaboration of internal teams to maximise investment success.

This new position will be critical in building capacity across the organisation to secure funding for capital projects along with program and service delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with representatives from State and Federal government departments to favourably position investment success and project delivery.
- Strong writing and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders.
- Ability to coordinate small cross functional teams to achieve outcomes and build capacity within teams.
- Demonstrated experience in developing implementing project plans.
- High level administrative skills to effectively centralise and manage information, correspondence and reporting.

**About you**

**_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_**
- Tertiary qualifications in business or a similar discipline with further formal qualifications in the field of expertise or in management, together with extensive and diverse experience, or intensive specialist experience.
- Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and collaboratively plan and deliver project outcomes within set timelines.
- Demonstrated experience and capability to manage administrative and planning aspects of projects along with strong project management skills.
