**ABOUT THE BRANCH AND TEAM**

The Case Support team, within Human Resources Branch provide support and assistance to all employees and managers on a range of people related matters such as:

- employee relations
- HR policy and procedures
- performance and wellbeing case management
- workers compensation processes
- early intervention and return to work processes
- Code of Conduct investigations
- Review of Actions matters.

**ABOUT THE**
**OPPORTUNITY**

As a Case Manager, you will:

- Under limited direction, provide effective case management support to managers, employees and/or other relevant stakeholders in line with relevant legislation and/or departmental policies.
- Provide timely advice and guidance to stakeholders on a range of case support matters.
- Develop, implement and maintain policies and practices relating to conduct, performance and rehabilitation ensuring they are compliant and take into consideration sensitive and confidential issues.
- Manage compensable claims in line with Comcare’s rehabilitation case manager best practice.
- Manage non-compensable injury/illness cases and implement early intervention and rehabilitation strategies
- Identify case management trends, risks and opportunities for improvement. Partner with stakeholders and clients for improved performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve work area and agency goals.
- Use skills and experience to facilitate initiatives and contribute to business improvement.
- Maintain a well-developed understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks.
