We are seeking to recruit an Accreditation & Customer Support Officer to join our Team

**The Opportunity**
The Accreditation & Customer Support Officer is responsible to the Passenger Transport Regulatory Operations Coordinator for the efficient, accurate and timely management of public enquiries, customer service and administration, processing, and assessment of accreditation for drivers, operators, and vehicles. You will also undertake a range of additional duties to support the administration of the Passenger Transport Act 1994 and Passenger Transport Regulations 2024 as required, including data analysis, production, and analysis of reports.

The Accreditation & Customer Support Officer must also consistently manage high volumes of work whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and effectively collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of section goals.

**About You**
- Experience in investigations, client assessments, record-keeping, and preparing clear, timely reports and correspondence.
- Strong analytical and research skills to evaluate complex information and support informed decision-making.
- Ability to communicate with clarity and empathy; build rapport, handle sensitive issues with discretion, and engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Proven ability to manage high workloads, meet performance targets, and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
- Works independently or in teams to deliver programs and services, underpinned by sound knowledge of government policies, legislation, and regulations.

**Special Conditions**
- A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
- A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, which must be renewed every five years before expiry.
- Must be available between the hours 9am to 5pm.

**Technical Capabilities**
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of statistical analysis, preparing reports that
effectively communicate trends.
- Advance Excel skills will be highly regarded.

**Tenure of Vacancy**
Temporary appointment up to 12 months. An extension or conversion to an ongoing role will be considered after this period.

**Remuneration**
ASO3 - $67,589 to $72,033 pa + superannuation.
