**An insight to the role**
- Lead sales growth - develop long term partnerships with Dairy and Beef Producers across the region
- Provide specialised technical knowledge and consultation to customers as required to help lead generation and closure of sales
- Execute the Datamars Livestock smart farming dairy solutions revenue generation plans - build pipelines
- Work alongside and develop sustainable relationships with key influencers and channel partners
- Understand the customer’s and channel partner’s strategic business objectives and business processes/metrics, including their organization, financial decision-making process and business challenges
- Assist in the development of the smart farming solution offering by communicating the business or market needs to the relevant global product owner in the smart farming team
- Provide market insights and competitor updates to internal stakeholders
- Identify area opportunities to help develop the business and build brand awareness, e.g., discussion groups, on-farm field days, local sponsorship
- CRM data input regarding pipeline management and reporting

- Strong ability to develop new business opportunities - managing and building sales pipelines
- Sales experience in agri capital sales e.g., dairy automation is highly advantageous
- We would also consider an astute professional with a strong connection, affinity and knowledge in dairy farming (hands on livestock farming experience) looking for an opportunity to move into sales
- Agriculture related Degree ideal
- Appetite for the industry and emerging technologies and ability to grasp and effectively communicate technical solutions
- Strong competence in computer literacy including CRM (Salesforce ideal) and pipeline management
