**About the role**

BaptistCare **Carey Gardens ACT** and **Caloola Centre Wagga Wagga** are partnering to recruit for this exciting **brand-new position**. The homes are seeking an **experienced Carer** to join their team on a **full-time/part-time basis** up to **75 hours** to work between the two homes for a 3-month contract for this pilot program. This opportunity may be extended or made permanent

**Skills & experience**
- Previous experience as a Carer **(Essential)**:

- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent **(Essential)**:

- **Drivers License and access to a car (Essential)**:

- **Must be willing to travel and work between Canberra and Wagga Wagga**:

- Transferable skills in providing care and compassion to others
- This position is open to **COUPLES** who would be willing to work and travel together

Duties may include:

- Assistance with a wide range of person-centered care in accordance with care plans
- Assistance with medication
- Simple wound dressing
- Assistance with activities under supervision
- Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love
