Supported Living Facilitator | Disability Services, NDIS- Employment Term: Casual- Location: Ipswich & Surrounding Suburbs- Remuneration: $43.23 p/hr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

- As a Supported Living Facilitator, you’ll be encouraged to grow, develop and feel empowered to make the everyday easier for the people we care so passionately about. Let’s make a meaningful difference, together
- Your part in our UnitingCare team- Work in partnership with the person being supported, their family and informal support networks, to attain the hopes and aspirations they have established for their lives- Provide support to people in their everyday living situations, including personal care as identified, with an emphasis on choice, enhancing quality of life- Participate in the development, implementation and review of individual plans that focus on the life hopes and aspirations of people- Enable people to attain personal autonomy over their own lives and the services which they receive- Recognise and uphold the right to respect, privacy, dignity and confidentiality of the person being supported and their family
- What makes a difference for us?- Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent support to clients and co-workers- Being flexible (able to work varied hours and days) and reliable to meet the needs of the people we support- Able to effectively communicate in spoken and written English- Experience working in the Disability, Aged and Community sector is ideal but not essential - as long as you have positive attitude and a willingness to learn-
- Open Drivers License; and- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate (required before you start)
