About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Activities Facilitator to lead the planning and delivery of a variety of recreational and leisure programs for children, teenagers, and adults living with disability. This role focuses on creating opportunities for meaningful participation, skill development, and community inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, coordinate and facilitate group and individual activities tailored to participant goals, interests, and abilities.
  • Support individuals to achieve NDIS goals through engagement in meaningful, person-centred programs.
  • Promote and support the inclusion of participants within their communities and social networks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to review and update Service Agreements and client budgets.
  • Monitor, document and report behaviours of concern, and contribute to the development of training strategies for Support Workers.
  • Participate in planning and delivery of weekend, evening and occasional camp-based activities, requiring flexible working hours.

Essential Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services or relevant equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience working with people with disability in a similar or equivalent role.
  • Proven ability to develop and facilitate inclusive and engaging group programs.
  • Strong understanding of positive behavior support and documentation practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Current Open Driver's License.

Desirable:

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
