Activities Facilitator

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Activities Facilitator to lead the planning and delivery of a variety of recreational and leisure programs for children, teenagers, and adults living with disability. This role focuses on creating opportunities for meaningful participation, skill development, and community inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, coordinate and facilitate group and individual activities tailored to participant goals, interests, and abilities.
- Support individuals to achieve NDIS goals through engagement in meaningful, person-centred programs.
- Promote and support the inclusion of participants within their communities and social networks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to review and update Service Agreements and client budgets.
- Monitor, document and report behaviours of concern, and contribute to the development of training strategies for Support Workers.
- Participate in planning and delivery of weekend, evening and occasional camp-based activities, requiring flexible working hours.
Essential Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services or relevant equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated experience working with people with disability in a similar or equivalent role.
- Proven ability to develop and facilitate inclusive and engaging group programs.
- Strong understanding of positive behavior support and documentation practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Current Open Driver's License.
Desirable:
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
