ARC Roofing is an established company that specialises in the high-end design, manufacturing and installation of copper, aluminium, stainless steel and zinc roofing & cladding. We cater for complex architectural designed homes, and institutional and large commercial projects partnering with mid to top-tier builders and architects.

With offices and factories in NSW, VIC and QLD, we are now in the market for a Machine Operator to join our Hornsby factory.

**Machine Operator**

We are now in the market for a Machine Operator to join our professional team. This role will consist of operating one of our new Folders, Slitter, Guillotine or CNC Turret/Laser Combination producing light gauge steel building systems. As a Senior Operator, you will be in-charge of reading shop drawings, managing a cutting & folding list ready for delivery to one of our projects across Australia.

**Experience and qualifications**
- Mechanical trade background or an experienced machinist
- Experience in programming and operating CNC machinery, familiar with precise measurements and programming angles and cuts
- Ability to work off drawings and designs
- Team player and can communicate at all levels
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and can think on their feet

**In return**

**Salary**: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Sheet metal: 3 years (preferred)
- Machine Operator: 3 years (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
