Reporting to the Manager Project Services, the Capital Projects Lead is an exciting opportunity to build and develop a high-performing team. The role will manage and coordinate the scoping, concept, detailed design and construction, including the consultation and procurement and contract management of the portfolio of building and major capital projects to achieve Council’s strategic objectives and to increase the livability for its local community. Working with the community and other key stakeholders, this role will enable and encourage input into the planning, design, and delivery of capital projects across the municipality. As a key contributor to the Project Services leadership team, this role will improve the capability and capacity of the Project Delivery Teams to meet the requirements of project sponsors and the community, proactively identifying and implementing process improvements whilst effectively engaging across the broader organisation.
