MacKellar are an industry leader in the mining and civil earthmoving industries with over 50 years’ experience. We supply and maintain a large fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment across Australia and take pride in our people, our safety culture, and maintaining our equipment to a high standard.

Our Workshop is located a stone's throw away from the heart of Blackwater.

Your new role

Secure a permanent position within our well-established and growing maintenance department at our main workshop. Working your choice of a 7/7 or 5/2 day shift only roster.
- Be involved with all areas of light vehicle and ancillary equipment (generators, lighting towers etc) repair and maintenance, including fault finding and troubleshooting, both scheduled and preventative maintenance
- Execute planned repairs within time and cost requirements
- Be self-motivated and able to work as directed
- Be committed to procedure based preventative maintenance
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work within teams to develop and implement solutions.

What you'll need to succeed
- Trade qualified with post-trade experience in the mining industry (LV Fitter/Mechanic)
- Experience with Light vehicles and ancillary equipment within a workshop environment
- A current Queensland drivers licence.
