Customer service is high on our list of priorities with our retail, trade & commercial customers. Our staff is a vital part of our business providing professional, friendly, expert advise.

We are looking for Trade counter sales staff to be part of our growing team to deliver exceptional service.
This position will suit a motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a focus on customer service. Working with a variety of team members and customers, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid, long-term relationships.
- An strong, confident communicator, enthusiastic and responsible attitude
- Well presented, punctual, trustworthy, with high organisational skills
- Great time management and prioritisation skills
- A willingness to learn and ability to retain knowledge
- Industry experience is highly valued but not mandatory
- Multi-task, time management & commitment to learning
- Able to work Saturday. (Alternative Saturdays off)

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Sales - including over the counter sales, phone sales, customer development & quotes
- Customer Service - this includes maintaining a friendly, professional & tidy appearance. Delivering exceptional, fast & informative customer service to our retail, trade & commercial customers.
- Excelling in general sales with customers
- Build, maintain, manage customer & suppliers
- Organise/manage daily procedures - dispatching orders & deliverers, maintaining stock levels, purchase orders & sales orders
- Work as part of a team
- Intermediate computer skills
- Current driver's license
- Current Forklift license would be an advantage
- Previous sales experience
- Previous industry experience or knowledge of hardware, building products or landscaping supplies
- A positive, professional can do attitude
- A drive to learn, motivate & influence others
- Ability to remain calm & collective under times of pressure

Product knowledge & training will be provided internally.
