**The Role**
We are excitedly recruiting for an experienced **Gaming Duty Manager** to join our management team. This unique gaming & compliance role overseeing daily operations as well as customer service, gaming, cash control and training in all aspects of a busy working Hotel & Gaming room.
You are responsible for ensuring the hotel gaming and licencing daily operations are run in accordance with the regulations, ensuring staff productivity, monitoring efficiency of all processes and creating a positive work environment for all employees. Reporting to the General Manager and liaising with the Group Gaming Manager you will meet regularly to stay up to date with organisational changes, issues and improvements and will be an integral part of the business moving forward. Ultimately, you will ensure all gaming and licensing regulations standards are upheld and the operations flow efficiently providing the very best level of service quality that consistently meets and preferably exceeds the expectations of guests.
**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:
- Managing the gaming presence in the hotel
- Improving all OLGR. Licensing and Gaming best practices
- Balancing and reporting all morning, end of day & end of month gaming reports
- Implementing strategies to improve our gaming room experience and revenue
- Facilitate the training of new hires to maintain high standards of service
- Implementing training strategies in all areas of Gaming
- Uphold and enforce company policies and procedures
- Develop and manage employee schedules, process timesheets, and adhere to payroll budgets
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction
- Promote products and facilitate staff training on new items to enhance sales and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, OLGR requirements and regulations.
**About you**:
- Work experience as a Duty Manager focussed on Gaming (minimum 2 years)
- You will understand how to manage a Gaming Room along with the Laws and Regulations within a Hotel, OLGR and Liquor Licence
- Must have RSA, RSG, TAB and RMLV
- Previous experience in the industry essential
- Experience in training new employees
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experience
- Knowledge of cash management
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekend
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
- Immediate start available
- Sponsorship is **not available** for this position
- Willing to live on North Stradbroke Island or commute on the passenger ferry from Cleveland, Brisbane 5 days per week
