**About us**
**About the role**
Court Transcription Officers type at sustained speeds from recordings of court proceedings and contribute to the production of transcripts within strict timelines, including twice-daily delivery of transcript. The work performed is specialised. Court Transcription Officers must work to the needs of the court in relation to the production, merging and timely delivery of transcripts.
**About you**
To ensure you are set up for success in the role you will need to;
- Transcribe from digital court recordings
- Demonstrate a minimum typing speed of 75 words / minute with a 98% accuracy
- Be highly organised and a team player
- Pride yourself on your attention to detail
- Possess a good grasp of the English language including an understanding of structure, syntax and grammar and the ability to identify legal, medical, forensic and psychiatric terminology including Latin phrases
