Our client Avtel (Aust) Pty Ltd, based in Seven Hills, NSW is looking for an experienced ICT Security Specialist to join their team.

**Eligibility Criteria**
- At least Bachelor or higher degree in related field
- At least two years or more experience in related field
- You must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent resident or have proper working rights in Australia.

**Role and Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be a part of a team of Engineers and Technicians and will be responsible for providing effective engineering and implementation of end-to-end execution for security integration and civil scope of works, including design, build, HSE and Quality Assurance for timely delivery and handover to the client.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Responsible for designing the database architecture, its structure and maintenance and security of original data.
- Conduct system audits, performance analysis, system firmware/software upgrades and preventive maintenance as required.
- Install, configure, test and commission network intrusion detection and video surveillance system.
- Responsible for security software successful operation, management, and its recovery in case of failure.
- Firewall planning, installation, and management of the client’s electronic security network
- Keeping records of client’s electronic security network documentation, its working systems, and logs details.
- Installing and configuring electronic security network devices and systems such as IP camera, video management servers and cloud-based access control systems.
- Design and implementation of network redundancy to maintain system availability, resilience, and redundancy to ensure desired up time.
- Up to date knowledge of new technologies and implement of these to existing client’s database if required.
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, build servers, setup virtualisation environments and manage ICT security issues.

**Skills and experience**:

- Sound knowledge of executing fit out of Integrated Security Systems (Access Control, CCTVs, etc.)
- Able to do cabling, electrical or mechanical work.
- Performing maintenance and commissioning activities.
- Project execution with understanding of project reports and operational controls.
- Exceptional Time management skill with an ability to prioritize and plan work effectively.
- Strong team member, collaborator, and self-starter.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple deliverables.
- Excellent communication, analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.

**Bonus**: Salary plus super and car allowance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $115,000.00 per year
