About The Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled professional for the position of Application Engineer.

This is a full-time position based in our Seven Hills office.

You will handle incoming requests for major / complex projects, provide evaluation and technical advice to support customer projects. To prepare winning quality bid offers with the optimal technical and commercial combination of products solutions and service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be a single point of contact for the customer and internal team.
  • Coordinate major / complex projects from order to delivery at customer site.
  • Manage completion of the project deliverables, including placing order for all materials, delivery of commissioning and installation services, progressing of PO, completion of documents, shipping requirements and invoicing.
  • Carry out contract review prior to acceptance of the order.
  • Review contracts to determine what documentation is required for each phase of the project.
  • Checking drawings and technical specifications.
  • Prepare tenders (technical and commercial) together with proposed drawings and  documentation for customers.
  • Prepare technical project documentation (singe line diagrams, general arrangement drawings, technical compliance, SAT procedures, floor plan drawings) for complete and effective handover to the project delivery team.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers; develop good working relationships with new customers.

Qualifications And Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar.
  • Technical knowledge in the area of secure power supply (UPS, rectifiers, inverters, batteries).
  • Good understanding of industrial power system products/applications/solutions.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a relevant industry.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Proficient in using CAD software is an advantage.
