Whilst living on a remote island in the Pacific many years ago this passionate Founder discovered a unique marine ingredient with immense skin healing properties. Amazed by the superb qualities and results of this natural product, the Founder wanted to find a way to make this accessible to women in Australia, and across the globe. Once she moved back to the Gold Coast, the brand was born and skin has been transforming ever since.

Fast forward 3 years since the business was established, the latest product now has a waitlist of 30,000 customers

Having been recognised by Vogue, along with various other credible names in beauty, demand is high and the business needs to grow in tandem with the cult following that is beginning to form.

So, this is where you come in As an accomplished Business & Operations Manager, you will be trusted to take the reins with all facets of day to day ops to lead them to even greater success.

**Take a deep dive into the role...**

Like with any start-up business, there are no boundaries or limits as to what you'll be doing. Don't expect to turn up on day one to find a list of tasks to complete - you'll be the one creating the list (and trust us, it will be quite long). However, this is what gives you that fire in your belly and propels you to achieve great things.

**Let's take a look at the nuts and bolts...**
- Build out solid processes and business procedures to create structure and continuity. Assess current systems and organise appropriately.
- Lead a team of 5 and handle all HR related duties, such as ensuring employment contracts are watertight, create onboarding processes, put team KPI's in place and oversee the general wellbeing of all staff.
- Be the culture champion Drive social activities and lead by example.
- Support with production and logistics, manage contractors, suppliers and all business insurances etc.
- Work with the bookkeeper to stay across finances, budgets and expenses.
- Utilise Shopify and expand ecommerce activity.
- Brainstorm and spearhead projects in conjunction with the Founder.
- Act as an Executive Assistant when required, keeping your finger on the pulse with her calendar and inbox.

You understand that being in a small business you encompass all departments, from HR to legal to marketing and customer service (and everything in between). You embrace wearing a multitude of hats and are often seen rolling up your sleeves to tackle things hands-on.

The key thing for this role is that you're confident to manage a business single-handedly, and whilst you look for vision from the Founder, you don't need to be taught the ropes. You love growing and nurturing a team and understand that success comes from the ground up.

Due to the nature of this role, previous experience in ecommerce, fashion or beauty will be highly regarded. However, at the core of it, we need an ambitious self-starter with a 12/10 work ethic and natural leadership capabilities.
