An exciting opportunity is now available for a commercially focussed and highly analytical Supply Chain Planner to join our team. You will prepare, manage and coordinate forecasts to optimise fulfilment availability and minimise waste. You will be a trusted partner to this new business venture. This is a unique opportunity with exposure to a large amount of work streams within a true start-up venture within the Coles Group.
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will identify and present opportunities to improve the end-to-end supply chain and drive the implementation of initiatives.
**You will**:
- Prepare, manage and coordinate forecasts to optimise fulfilment availability and minimise waste
- Support planning, execution, and ranging decisions
- Ensure the effective delivery of end-to-end execution and delivery of inventory requirements
- Identify and present opportunities to improve the end-to-end supply chain and drive the implementation of initiatives
- Ensure realisation of commercial benefits from improvement opportunities

**You have**:
- FMCG and/or retail supply chain planning experience
- Strong and demonstrated collaborative skills with internal and external organisations
- Proven working knowledge of statistics, forecasting, replenishment methods
- Analytical and modelling capabilities
- Knowledge of modern ERP and WMS systems
- Continuous improvement focus and mindset
- Proven ability to swiftly adjust as required to deal with the rapidly changing environment
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end components of an integrated supply chain
- Deep understanding of established demand and supply planning work processes
- Strong analytical skills demonstrated through proactively sourcing customer insights and data to formulate category decisions (e.g., range, pricing etc.)
- Ability to get to the root cause of issues and suggest and implement corrective actions
- Prioritisation and organisation skills required to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to identify valuable data points and appropriately input into systems generated forecasts with input from the demand planning team
