Project Officer

Permanent, Part Time position - 15.2 hours per week

The Community Projects Officer will lead and support projects that improve the lives, and enhances the participation of, the Darebin community in quality services and community activities within Darebin.

This position will develop and share research and data on current and emerging issues and sector trends. Contribute to planning and delivery of evidenced based, responsive community development programs, community-based work and direct services to the and community.

**About the Role**
- Develop, execute and monitor project plans
- Plan, lead and direct communication and engagement activities, including consultation with Darebin’s diverse community
- Collect, analyse, present and communicate data and research to help inform current and future service delivery. Other duties as directed within the skills and abilities of a position at this level

**Skills & Experience**
- A tertiary qualification (or currently enrolled and working towards) in Community Development, Teaching or Social Work (or related discipline), and/or relevant experience in the Community Services/ Development environment.
- Extensive experience in project management
