**About this work area**
As Deputy Market Sales & Customer Experience Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Lead the customer & selling assignment and unit strategy and be accountable for its performance.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Selling and Customer team, with a customer focused culture, to achieve planned sales, profitability, growth targets and provide a rewarding customer experience.
- Collaborating with the commercial team to translate commercial action plans to operational goals and priorities, to address challenges, control budgets and people planning, providing support and guidance to co-workers.
- Secure that local market, customer, consumer and competitor insights are used to identify local market potential and continuously improve sales performance and omnichannel customer experience.
- Monitor individual and team performance to achieve goals and objectives, identifying and implementing corrective action where necessary

As Deputy Market Sales & Customer Experience Manager you are:

- An experience retail leader with extensive commercial knowledge and an entrepreneurial mindset, poised to deliver significant growth and enhancing the brand’s positioning within an omnichannel environment.
- A data-driven professional with a strong ability to incorporate figures, results, and facts into presentations, communication, and daily operations, ensuring informed decision-making and measurable business outcomes.
- Strategically and operationally skilled and proficient in recognising and capitalising on commercial opportunities.
- Passionate about the customer journey from start to finish across omnichannel, ensuring every touchpoint delivers high levels of customer satisfaction and supporting business growth with detailed customer insights and analysis to guide continuous improvements.
- Dedicated in creating an engaging and inclusive workplace where all team members feel valued and empowered to bring their full selves to work.
- Fully embodying IKEA’s values in all actions and decisions, contributing to leading the business through a people-focused approach that resonates with IKEA’s core values.

To be considered for this role, experience in the following is essential:

- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in leadership or management within commercial functions.
- Proven effective business acumen, people management skills and a thorough understanding of profit and loss.
- Proven experience to implement plans into reality and make things happen.
- Successful skills in problem solving, conflict management and people development.
- Skilled in making commercial decisions based on market data.
- Experience of Omnichannel customer experience.
