**The Role**
The APS6 Overseas Training and Education (OTE) Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Aviation Training Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case.
The role supervises the administration, preparation, course scheduling and reporting requirements for Aviation personnel selected for overseas training courses.
Some of your tasks include:
Setting work priorities and manage workflows for:
- International student management.
- Overseas student travel.
- Directed training requirement.
- Training Management and
- Throughput planning.
Communicating with stakeholders:
- International Policy Division.
- Australian Defence Staff Overseas.
- Foreign Defence Staff in Australia.
- Army Headquarters, NIPA and DOCM-A.
- HQ AVN COMD.
- HQ FORCOMD.
- RAN and
- RAAF.
Oversee the collection of statistical records:
- International student management.
- Course scheduling and student tracking and
- Overseas student travel.
As a team member support the records management information systems using:
- Objective data management.
- PMKeyS.
- PD&T.
- ROMAN and the
**About our Team**
The aim of the Army Aviation Training Centre (AAvnTC) is to deliver effective training to Pilots, Aircrew men, Ground Crewmen and Aircraft Technicians for deployment within Australian Army Aviation.
AAvnTC provides the highest level of instruction to ensure all graduates are able to operate and support aircraft effectively in combat environments.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative person to join our evolving HQ, and to contribute to establishing processes for Overseas Training and Education within Aviation Command.
You will possess a strong work ethic, thrive in a high-pressure environment where stakeholder engagement, communication, time management, good judgment, financial acumen, strategic thinking, and strong analytical skills are vital to be successful in the role.
Collaboration and adding value in a dynamic team environment comprising uniformed, Public Service and Defence Industry personnel will be a key part of the role.
You either have a demonstrated understanding of and/or experience in training enterprises, systems and management processes or you can tell us how you would quickly obtain this knowledge.
