One of our globally renowned mining clients is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for a 6-month temporary assignment located in the Perth, CBD. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AP Officer, with high-volume invoicing experience to join a friendly and dedicated AP team, in a brand-new office, with exciting long-term career opportunities.

**Location**: Perth, CBD

**Duration**:6 Months

**Hours**:Mon - Fri, 38 hours with 2 days WFH

**Rate**:$40/hour

**Key accountabilities will include but not limited to**:

- Individual vendor responsibility
- Role encompasses the processing of invoices and generating payments
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment to vendors
- Weekly and monthly vendor statement reconciliations
- Active communication with internal staff and vendors

**Qualifications and skills required**:

- Minimum one year experience as an Accounts Payable Officer (essential)
- Experience processing a high volume of invoices (essential)
- Strong Knowledge and experience of SAP (essential)
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (essential)
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Good numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal, organisation, and time management skills
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products
