Trainee Optical Dispenser or Qualified Optical Dispenser

Specsavers Balgowlah have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and energetic Optical Dispenser OR aspiring Optical Dispenser to join our retail team on a permanent Part-time or Full-time basis.

This role will be developmental and scaling towards career progression within the Specsavers company, we are looking for an individual suitable to become an industry leader.

If you do not currently hold a CIV OD qualification, we are offering a fully funded mentor guided course to becoming a qualified Optical Dispenser provided you have prior optical assistant knowledge or optical training.

You will be involved in ensuring an excellent customer/patient journey from Frame Styling and dispensing of ophthalmic lenses to audiology enquiries and basic hearing aid repairs. **What Your Day Will Look Like**:

- Bring to life the visions and values of the Specsavers customer first attitude
- Assist in numerous aspects of the customer journey in store from frame styling and providing product knowledge to operating and conducting preliminary health checks with our industry leading machinery
- Assist store directors and leadership team with daily tasks and maintaining the high standards of our store
- Day to day management of stock, deliveries and patient orders
- Working within our small team to bring customer service to life every day

- Optical experience and dispensing qualification is highly desired
- Previous experience in a fast-paced retail environment or customer service environment

- Exceptional organisational and communication skills

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 34 per week
