Packing Process Worker

We have multiple opportunities for Process Workers to join the team, where you would be responsible for performing a range of tasks related to the manufacture of Youfoodz products. Process Worker roles are available on a casual basis (with potential for permanent) with shifts available across the morning and afternoon.
- Place food into containers, ensuring that appropriate presentation is maintained;
- Weigh each food component as placed into container, ensuring that required weight requirements are met;
- Sleeve meals at required pace;
- Inform Team Leader/Supervisor/Team Manager (or other appropriate person) of any issues impacting quality or food safety in a timely manner;
- Cleaning equipment and workspace to an appropriate standard as required;
- General food preparation and portioning;
- Work in a cool environment.

What are we looking for:

- At least three months’ experience in a manufacturing Pick Pack environment
- Previous experience in a high volume, fast paced work environment
- Ability to learn Food Safety practices, HACCP and experience with WH&S principles
- Steel toe boots are required for some roles

- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
- Sound communication skills, including understanding of and conversational ability in the English language, both written and verbal
- The ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency when completing tasks
- Ability to work as part of a team
- High levels of resilience, professionalism and work ethic
- Approachable, energetic and flexible in approach
- High standards of personal presentation and hygiene
