Deaf and Hearing HQ Australia specialises in providing support and services to individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, as well as those who communicate using Auslan.

**About the role**

Duties may include, but not limited to:

- Work independently to provide interpreting services to individuals who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing or use Auslan to communicate.
- Attend face to face or online appointments with clients. This may include government services, health and wellbeing, education, etc.
- Keep accurate records of shifts and activities
- Work within NDIS code of conduct

**About you**
- Hold NAATI certified translator certificate
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- An understanding of the NDIS code of conduct and principles
- Ability to work with NDIS participants to achieve their goals
- Drivers licence and own car, willing to use for transporting clients when required
- Valid police check
- Willing to obtain WWCC

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual

**Salary**: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- NAATI Certification (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Melbourne, VIC (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Melbourne, VIC: Relocate before starting work (required)
