**About the role**

City of Parramatta are seeking skilled and motivated horticultural team members to join our growing team As a team member you will be responsible for delivering horticultural services that ensure our Parks and Open Spaces are maintained and improved to enhance the appearance of our city

On a daily basis you will:

- Drive/ operate a Truck for the Parks Services teams.
- Undertake a variety of park maintenance tasks required for the successful completion of the functions of the Parks Services Team, to ensure the long-term management, condition and usability of assets and facilities under the care of the team.
- Adapt to changing priorities and undertake other tasks as directed, to assist other parks teams and operational areas, particularly in wet weather or other emergencies to meet community needs.
- Ensure correct completion of all necessary administrative functions (electronic & paper-based).

**About You**

**Qualifications**:

- Hold a current NSW Class MR Truck license with related experience.
- Possession of a construction industry certificate (White Card)
- Asbestos Awareness
- Chainsaw Operation certificate
- **desirable**:

- Traffic Control License (TCR)
- Powerline awareness

**What’s on offer**:
We currently have 2x Permanent Full-Time opportunities:

- Monday-Friday
- 6:30am-3:00pm
- 38 hours per week
- Monthly rostered day off

We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $61,736.514 to $67,983.28 plus 11% Superannuation.
