Rydalmere, Australia Parramatta City Council Full time

This position is a permanent full-time opportunity, reporting to the Team Leader you will be responsible for delivering horticultural services that ensures Parramatta’s parks and open spaces are maintained and improved.

On a daily basis you will:

- Assist the Team Leader to deliver all works, programs/schedules to the agreed standards.
- Conduct irrigation audits and repairs as part of the maintenance program.
- Undertake a variety of park maintenance tasks required for the successful completion of the functions of the Parks Services Team, to ensure the long-term management, condition and usability of assets and facilities under the care of the team.
- Adapt to changing priorities and undertake other tasks as directed, to assist other teams and operational areas, particularly in wet weather or other emergencies to meet community needs.

**About You**

The successful applicant will have previous experience in conducting irrigation audits, park maintenance and the operation of grass cutting equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate III or trade qualifications in Horticulture, Parks & Gardens
- Hold a current NSW C Class Drivers License (MR Desirable)
- Possession of a construction industry certificate (“White Card”)
- Traffic Control License TCR and IMP
- Asbestos Awareness

**What’s on offer**:
We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $68,638.99 to $75,563.22 plus 11% Superannuation.
