**Eligibility**
- To be eligible for employment with the Department of Health and Aged Care

**Division Responsibilities**

The People, Communication and Parliamentary Division (PCPD) plays an essential enabling

role in the department by:

- Strengthening workforce through planning, recruitment, and mobility, strengthening

leadership, and expanding learning and development, including improving talent

management
- Ensuring a capable, contemporary department that is consistent in how we deliver

effectively on the Australian Government's agenda and meet organisational needs
- Providing professional communication advice, strategies, and services to support the

department to deliver on the Government’s commitment to improve health of all

Australians.

**Branch Responsibilities**

The Department of Health and Aged Care recognises that people want modern workplaces,

The New Ways of Working (NWOW) Branch is the catalyst for making that happen across

the Department of Health and Aged Care. The branch aims to create an environment for all

more flexible, healthier work environment that promotes adaptability, collaboration, and

**Section Responsibilities**

The Canberra NWOW Section is a multi-disciplinary team implementing the New Ways of

Working rollout across our Department of Health Canberra offices, engaging with over 3,000

staff. This includes staff working in our Sirius and Scarborough House buildings in Woden

and our two Fairbairn offices.

**Key Responsibilities**

The New Ways of Working team’s Co-Design & Engagement officers support and deliver

engagement, change and co-design activities with staff across the department. Working in

an agile environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team including project management,

communication, change and co-design expertise, you will work on projects to deliver New

Ways of Working to groups of the department’s workforce, along with contributing to the

broader Co-design and Engagement Program Strategy. You will also work across the branch

with experienced Co-Design and Engagement specialists encompassing Human Centred

Design, Behavioural Change and Co-Design in a community of practice.
