Lion is seeking a **Finance Strategy and Transformation Leader** to join our team on a **12-14-month fixed term contract**, reporting to the **Finance Transformation and Digital Director**. This high-impact role supports the **CFO and Finance Leadership Team (FLT)**, driving the strategic finance agenda, delivering transformation initiatives, and digital innovation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Finance Strategy - Develop and execute the CFO Finance Strategy, facilitate strategy sessions, and engage external partners for thought leadership and insight.
- Transformation Initiatives - Design and implement key finance transformation projects, including process optimization, financial planning and reporting, and controls.
- Strategic Vendor Management - Oversee contracts with Lion’s BPO provider, ensuring governance and alignment with business goals.
- Engagement & Leadership - Support CFO-led engagement initiatives, curate leadership forums, and lead a Senior Strategy Analyst.
- Digital Innovation - Support the Finance Digital Product Manager, prioritizing finance technology requirements in partnership with the Digital, Data, and Technology teams.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Proven stakeholder management, influencing and leadership in cross-functional teams delivering finance strategy and transformational change.
- Ability to embed new technologies and drive strategic initiatives with problem solving, critical and diverse thinking skills.
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills including facilitating workshops and developing Executive / Board level presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree (required) plus professional qualification/postgraduate studies in Finance (desirable).
- 6-10 years of management consulting / transformation experience, planning and executing projects within medium-term timeframes.
