**About the role**:
**What you’ll do**
We are currently looking to appoint a highly motivated, driven, Relationship Manager who will be committed to managing and growing key accounts in the Melbourne region alongside identifying new partners.
- Lead some of Australia’s largest national corporate account’s, selling IT products to the commercial channel.
- Partner with local VAR IT resellers maximizing market share and vendor representation.
- Developing & implementing strategies to win and grow revenue within a new & existing customer base.
- Identifying new areas of opportunity for partners and assisting to create new offerings to market.
- Developing, building & converting a solid pipeline for short, medium & long-term sustainable profitable growth.
- Manage & report your territory forecast and pipeline management
- Partner business reviews
- Upsell & Cross Sell Opportunities
- Represent the company to the partner & your partners to the company in all sales-oriented activities
- Be able to sell the Ingram Micro value and offerings to existing and new partner base.
- Creating & nurturing strategic relationships with both customers & aligned vendors.
- Building and maintaining optimal engagement and close plans to maximise profitability
- Having a ‘thinking outside of the box’ attitude to developing value add sales engagements to take advantage of cross and upsell opportunities.

Someone who can drive Ingram Micro’s value proposition and further cement our position of Market Leaders. To be successful you will ideally have:
- Proven success in sales within the Technology Industry
- Experience working within the IT channel and have existing partner relationships in both the Enterprise and VAR markets
- Existing relationships with top tier IT vendor sales teams
- Comprehensive understanding of strategic account planning with experience in both development and execution of those plane
- Ability to leverage stakeholder management across both internal and external resources
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills; Oral, written. Digital, Social and Presentation Skills
- The ability to attract & recruit new partners in the VIC region, build relationships and drive revenue growth.
- Proven experience delivering solutions focused on business outcomes
- The ability to plan ahead & forecast accurately
- A hunger and drive to be part of a high-performance sales culture
- Ability to work independently and within the larger team.
- Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with channel partners.
- Ability to support back end activities such as order processing, quotation generation, delivery follow up etc.
