Come and discover the opportunity to join our BlueScope Distribution business in our Granville team as a Machine Operator. BlueScope Distribution is a provider of single-source product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

This opportunity will see you operate processing machinery, in particular the Shear Line, decoiling and levelling sheet and plate and cutting to ordered sizes, while monitoring product quality and remaining committed to your safety and that of the team. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of our Machine Operator role, allowing for future career development opportunities.

Working Monday to Friday day shift (6am-2pm), you will have access to our Profit Share Plan (bonus), Employment Access Program and ongoing learning and training.

**What Will You Do?**

As an experienced machine operator this role will see you:

- operate the Shear Line to process our steel products
- operate remote control gantry cranes and forklifts
- monitor the product for quality and defects
- successfully contribute to a safe working environment

**More About You**

We are on the lookout for dedicated team players who have:

- experience operating steel forming machinery within a processing environment, shear line specific experience would be preferred.
- strong communication, problem solving and self-management skills
- the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment
- high commitment to safety
