**Job description**

**WeKare Disability Services** is seeking self-employed Contract Support Workers, _**Applicants should be highly competent in employing comprehensive Behavioural Strategies as designed by a Behavioural Practitioner.**_This is a focused, contracted position with a single participant only, and will carry a finite term, reviewed periodically based on success in supporting that participant. _
- **Applicants must hold an ABN for consideration.**_
- Experience working with participants with complex needs
- Ability to drive a manual car
- Understanding of behaviours of concern
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders, including participants' representatives and other professionals

The positions will be contract-based affording availability for long hours as the client will require 24-hour care.

1. Cert III, IV in Disability or Aged Care Services

2. National/International Police Check

3. Working With Children Check

4. NDIS Screening Check

5. First Aid Certificate (incl. resuscitation)

6. Valid Driver's License and Access to an insured vehicle.

7. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status.

**A Certificate of Autism Spectrum Disorder is highly regarded for this role.**

Pay for this role is offered at a flat rate per hour, under contract, as below.
- Ordinary hours Monday to Friday $45.00
- Ordinary hours Saturday $63.00
- Sunday $82.00
- Overtime - first two or three hours - Monday to Saturday $63.00
- Overtime - thereafter - Monday to Saturday $82.00
- Public Holidays $100
- Shiftwork (afternoon shift) $50.00
- Shiftwork (night shift) $51.00
