**About the Role**:
Cessnock District Hospital is a 36-bed facility delivering essential medical services to the local community, including emergency, surgical, and general care. They are seeking proactive and dedicated Enrolled Nurses to join their close-knit, supportive team. As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) working across the medical and surgical wards, you will provide individualised, high-quality patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will play a key role in supporting positive health outcomes while contributing to a collaborative and caring team environment.
**About You**:
You will bring
- Certificate III Assistant in Nursing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester or trimester of second year), or currently enrolled in a TAFE NSW Diplomas of Nursing (completion of identified foundational units in practice AND 120 hours of clinical placement).
- Recent experience working within a hospital setting, delivering patient care in a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first approach.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement.
You will be supported by Nurse Unit Managers, Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and the Clinical Nurse Educator. A range of educational and professional development opportunities are also available.
